Civil Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Civil Engineer to join our design and delivery team in the United Arab Emirates. You will work closely with the design team and project managers to produce high‑quality civil engineering solutions for a variety of infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design and assist in project delivery, covering site layouts, grading, drainage, paving, utilities and related civil works.
• Prepare drawings, reports, specifications and calculations in line with project scope and cost plans.
• Coordinate with design teams, main contractors and sub‑contractors to ensure technically compliant and consistent designs.
• Conduct design reviews, feasibility studies and produce supporting reports.
• Ensure designs meet sustainability, safety and cost‑effectiveness criteria across all RIBA stages.
• Prepare and sign off calculations according to relevant standards and codes.
• Support risk assessments under CDM regulations and implement QA procedures.
• Attend progress, design and coordination meetings and maintain strong client relationships.

Required profile

• Minimum 120 months (10 years) of relevant civil engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of highway design, grading, paving, drainage, utilities and ground improvement methods.
• Ability to produce coordinated, high‑quality design documentation.
