Civil Engineer

About the role

Pearl City Construction is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to lead day‑to‑day site operations in Dubai. You will supervise labour, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure projects meet quality, safety, and schedule requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the site daily, supervising labour forces and subcontractors.
• Plan work, organise plant and site facilities to meet deadlines.
• Oversee quality control, health and safety, and prepare required reports.
• Resolve technical difficulties and unexpected problems on site.
• Set out, level, and survey the site; verify plans, drawings, and quantities.
• Ensure materials and work comply with specifications and oversee material and plant requisition.
• Liaise with employers, suppliers, subcontractors, statutory authorities, and local authorities for regulatory compliance.
• Supervise and mentor junior or trainee engineers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in site management and supervision of construction teams.
• Strong understanding of construction regulations and local building codes.
• Ability to produce accurate reports and resolve on‑site technical issues.
• Effective communication with stakeholders, including authorities and subcontractors.
