Civil Inspector – Hardscape

About the role

KEO Group is seeking a Civil Inspector specialised in hardscape works to join its Dubai team. The role involves ensuring that all hardscape construction activities comply with contract drawings, specifications, local codes and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by contractors and take timely corrective action.
• Review shop drawings against contract documents, specifications, local codes and international best practice.
• Report any non‑conforming work to stakeholders for appropriate action.
• Monitor quality and safety on site, including health, environmental and risk assessments.
• Maintain daily site records, progress photos and make them available for inspection.
• Prepare surveillance reports and non‑conformance reports (NCR) as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in civil construction inspection, preferably with hardscape projects.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes and statutory requirements.
• Ability to assess safety and environmental issues on site.
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
