Civil Inspector

About the role

Parsons is seeking a Civil Inspector to oversee utility system installation, maintenance, and compliance on construction sites in Abu Dhabi. You will ensure that water, drainage, sewage, electrical, gas, and telecom infrastructure are built to design specifications, standards, and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect installation of utility systems, verifying alignment, levels, and gradients.
• Confirm works comply with approved designs, specifications, and industry codes.
• Monitor material quality and workmanship throughout the project.
• Witness and verify system testing such as pressure and flow tests.
• Oversee commissioning to ensure full operational readiness.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and utility providers to resolve issues.
• Liaise with project engineers and managers to address discrepancies and design changes.
• Enforce safety and environmental practices, including waste disposal and storm‑water management.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience inspecting utility systems on construction sites.
• Strong knowledge of water, drainage, sewerage, electrical, gas, and telecom infrastructure.
