Civil Inspector – Roads & Infrastructure

About the role

Parsons is seeking a skilled Civil Inspector to join its Roads & Infrastructure team in Dubai. You will ensure that all construction and maintenance activities meet the required codes, standards, and specifications while supporting a wide range of infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform continuous surveillance of assigned inspection activities to verify compliance with codes, standards, drawings, and specifications.
• Oversee construction and maintenance of roads, curbs, gutters, sidewalks, and landscaping.
• Manage drainage work, utilities, traffic control measures, and lighting installations.
• Install electrical equipment for traffic signals, ramp metering, and street lighting.
• Handle irrigation, planting, and removal/installation of roadway and overhead signs.
• Install temporary and permanent signs and road delineation.
• Supervise building and facility construction and related site development.
• Capture daily project photographs and maintain proper filing.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction supervision of infrastructure projects, including road works and utilities.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction specifications, and civil inspection processes.
• Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to work independently.
