Civil/Structural Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Civil & Structural Engineer to join Bilfinger’s Middle East team in Dubai. The role involves delivering civil and structural engineering solutions across EPC and EPCM projects for oil & gas, industrial, infrastructure and water sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead civil and structural design activities from concept through FEED, detailed engineering and construction support for greenfield and brownfield projects.
• Develop structural calculations, design reports, technical specifications and construction drawings for steel, PEB, reinforced‑concrete and water‑retaining structures.
• Design platforms, pipe racks, shelters, foundations, equipment pads, underground structures, tanks, sumps and road/ drainage works.
• Ensure compliance with international design codes, project specifications and client standards.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, piping, process, E&I) and support the Lead Engineer in schedule and budget management.
• Participate in design, model and constructability reviews and liaise with clients and vendors.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Proven experience in EPC/EPCM projects within oil & gas, petrochemical or industrial sectors.
• Ability to produce high‑quality design documentation and to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
