Classroom Assistant (UAE National)

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking a UAE National Classroom Assistant for Mamoura British Academy in Abu Dhabi, starting August 2026. The role supports teachers and pupils to ensure a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support to pupils inside and outside the classroom.
• Assist with health and safety matters and monitor pupil attendance.
• Help implement and track individual education programmes.
• Support pupils with emotional, behavioural or additional learning needs.
• Maintain pupil records, prepare displays of work and assist with photocopying and other classroom tasks.
• Deliver group or individual academic assistance as directed by the teacher.
• Supervise pupils in classrooms and other school areas, reinforcing behaviour policies.

Required profile

• UAE National with at least a secondary school certificate (or Bachelor’s degree).
• Minimum two years of experience working in a school setting.
• Strong English language skills aligned with the school curriculum.
• Experience supporting students for whom English is not the first language.
• Passion for teaching, professionalism and commitment to the whole‑child approach.
