Clinical Nurse Lead - Pediatrics

About the role

The Clinical Nurse Lead – Pediatrics will supervise nursing staff, coordinate clinical operations, and ensure safe, high‑quality care for pediatric patients within Amana Healthcare’s long‑term and post‑acute services.

Key responsibilities

• Complete timely patient admissions, conduct ongoing assessments, and update individualized care plans.
• Provide direct patient care, evaluate outcomes, and apply family‑centered care principles.
• Monitor and document patient conditions, treatment effectiveness, and interventions.
• Assess educational needs of patients and families, deliver teaching materials, and verify understanding.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in line with policies and protocols.
• Lead the nursing team as a positive role model and mentor.
• Organise department meetings, in‑house training, quality and infection‑control audits, and manage meeting minutes with the Service Line Manager.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by adhering to infection‑control policies and regulatory procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum of 24 months (2 years) of clinical nursing experience, preferably in pediatrics.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor nursing staff.
• Strong commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, and infection‑control standards.
