About the role
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Operations Engineer to design, build, and maintain a secure, high‑performance cloud environment. You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to automate processes, improve reliability, and ensure cost‑effective operations.
Key responsibilities
- Administer Linux servers (Ubuntu, Amazon Linux) and web/proxy services (Apache, Nginx, Tomcat, HAProxy).
- Manage AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, ECS, Lambda, CloudFront, IAM) and implement multi‑account architecture using Control Tower, VPC, and Transit Gateway.
- Design scalable, fault‑tolerant architectures, lead cloud migrations, and apply the AWS Well‑Architected Framework.
- Operate Kubernetes clusters, implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and CloudFormation, and automate workflows using Ansible and Python.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, AWS Code services) and integrate security testing (SAST, DAST, SCA).
- Support databases (MySQL, Cassandra, Redis, Elasticsearch) and manage secrets with HashiCorp Vault and AWS Secrets Manager.
- Implement observability using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, New Relic and ensure compliance with incident, change, and release processes.
Required profile
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps/CloudOps.
- Strong hands‑on expertise with AWS and cloud‑native architectures.
- Proven experience in automation, CI/CD, and security‑first DevOps practices.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (AWS, Kubernetes, DevOps) are a plus.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
