CNG Maintenance Technician

About the role

The CNG Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of CNG and hydrogen refuelling stations. The role involves performing preventive, predictive, corrective and emergency maintenance on a range of electromechanical equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute corrective and emergency repairs on CNG compressors, electric motors, switchgear, MCC rooms, priority panels, dispensers, cooling water circuits, PLCs, power panels and supervisory panels.
• Inspect sites, assess problems reported by end‑users, and coordinate with external maintenance contractors to resolve issues.
• Monitor contractor performance, verify completion of work against standards, and produce written reports for the CNG Maintenance Supervisor.
• Review preventive maintenance reports for chillers and other station equipment, recommend replacements, and ensure compliance with HSE standards.
• Conduct routine predictive maintenance tests and attend to breakdowns promptly, returning equipment to service safely.
• Process maintenance requests through the SAP system and procure urgent small‑item supplies using petty cash.

Required profile

• Experience in electromechanical maintenance of CNG/Hydrogen refuelling infrastructure.
• Ability to work on‑site at multiple stations and follow strict safety procedures in hazardous areas.
• Proficiency in coordinating with third‑party contractors and documenting work.
• Familiarity with SAP maintenance modules for logging complaints and work orders.
