Cold Kitchen Commis (Commis 1 – Cold)

About the role

Join AccorHotel’s kitchen team in Dubai as a Commis 1 – Cold, supporting the preparation and service of cold dishes in a fast‑paced, 5‑star environment. You will work closely with the Sous Chef and Chef de Partie to ensure high standards of quality, hygiene and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and safety of kitchen areas and equipment, following all hotel policies and safety regulations.
• Prepare and arrange cold stations, mise en place and portion sizes according to daily requirements and menu specifications.
• Assist in supervising breakfast and à‑la‑carte service, ensuring correct sequencing and presentation of dishes.
• Communicate effectively with team members, report any irregularities to the Sous Chef, and support fellow staff as needed.
• Record recipes, follow ordering procedures, and participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Creative and passionate about food and customer service.
• Ability to work under high pressure and deliver consistent quality.
• Interpersonal and communication skills; strong team player.
• Culinary diploma or equivalent certification.
• Experience in a 5‑star hotel or comparable hospitality environment.
• Currently residing in the UAE and available to join immediately is an advantage.
