Commercial Corporate Counsel - Middle East

About the role

Salesforce is expanding its Commercial Legal team in the Middle East and seeks a high‑performing Corporate Counsel to support sales activities across the United Arab Emirates and the broader region. Based in the Dubai office, the role will provide legal guidance on technology service agreements and regional initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on UAE and other Middle‑East laws, regulations and procedures to align contractual and operational offerings with business growth.
• Draft, negotiate and counsel on strategic technology service agreements with commercial and public‑sector customers.
• Provide ongoing legal support for cloud‑based, on‑premise and professional services, including regulatory interpretation and dispute assistance.
• Collaborate with privacy, government affairs, security and compliance teams to ensure agreement consistency with internal policies.
• Respond to public market surveys, RFIs/RFPs and develop training materials on relevant legal topics.
• Contribute to the EMEA Commercial Legal team’s knowledge base and participate in cross‑regional projects.

Required profile

• Master’s degree from a reputable university; LLM or studies in an English‑speaking country are a plus.
• Qualified lawyer in a major jurisdiction, preferably UAE.
• Minimum five years of post‑qualification experience in a top law firm or in‑house role handling commercial and technology contracts in the Middle East.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.

Required skills

• Strong experience in cloud computing contracts.
• Substantive expertise in AI, data privacy and intellectual property law.
• Outstanding legal drafting skills in both Arabic and English.
• Excellent verbal communication and negotiation abilities.
