Commercial Project Manager – Grid Software

About the role

Siemens Grid Software is seeking a Commercial Project Manager to lead end‑to‑end delivery of commercial projects that support utilities and grid operators in the UAE. The role offers the chance to work with cutting‑edge digital solutions that drive the transition to sustainable energy systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple commercial projects from initiation through closure, ensuring on‑time and on‑budget delivery.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams including sales, engineering, finance, and logistics.
• Monitor project performance using KPIs and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Oversee contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and commercial terms for grid software products.
• Maintain primary responsibility for customer relationships on commercial matters.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for commercial projects.
• Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
• Perform profitability analysis and cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial project management, preferably within the energy or software sector.
• Strong ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
