About the role
The Holiday Inn & Staybridge Suites Dubai Business Bay is seeking a Commis Chef specialized in Asian cuisine to join its vibrant kitchen team. Located in the heart of Dubai’s Business Bay, the hotel offers 275 rooms and 120 serviced apartments, serving both hotel guests and restaurant patrons. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, supporting the preparation of high‑quality Asian dishes and ensuring consistent service standards.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare daily mise‑en‑place and produce food across various kitchen stations, adhering to the hotel’s quality and safety standards.
- Assist senior chefs with cooking, plating, and plating of Asian menu items, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the work area.
Required profile
- Previous experience working with Asian cuisine, preferably in a restaurant or 4/5‑star hotel setting.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with team members.
- Commitment to delivering food of the highest quality.
