About the role

The InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa is seeking an enthusiastic Commis I to join its kitchen team. This entry‑level position supports the creation of memorable dining experiences for guests in a luxury beachfront setting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present dishes with attention to visual appeal and taste.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and manage supplies, equipment, and waste.
• Adhere to local cleanliness and hygiene regulations.
• Assist with washing up and other kitchen duties as needed.
• Perform ad‑hoc tasks to support the team.

Required profile

• Physical ability to lift, push, and pull objects up to 50 lb (23 kg), including bending and kneeling.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Flexibility to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Compliance with local food‑handling and alcohol‑serving laws, including age and language requirements.
• Strong communication skills and a welcoming attitude.
