Commis I – Oriental Kitchen (Full‑time)

About the role

Rotana Hotels & Resorts is looking for a motivated Commis I to join the Oriental Kitchen team at Park Rotana & Park Arjaan Abu Dhabi. You will work in a fast‑paced hotel kitchen, supporting the culinary team in delivering high‑quality dishes and exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations.
• Prepare and execute menu specifications accurately.
• Maintain a hygienic work area in line with hotel standards.
• Control food stock and monitor food cost within your section.
• Prepare daily mise‑en‑place and produce food across main and satellite kitchens.
• Follow instructions from supervisors to complete assigned tasks.
• Ensure consistent quality and stay updated on new products, recipes, and techniques.
• Coordinate with other sections to manage cleanliness, wastage, and cost control.

Required profile

• Completed a professional kitchen apprenticeship or chef training course.
• Previous experience in reputable establishments with solid culinary skills.
• Good command of English.
• Positive, dynamic, creative and able to work in a multicultural environment.
• Resilient under pressure and committed to teamwork.
