About the role
Rotana Hotels is seeking a motivated Commis II to join its kitchen team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will support daily food preparation and uphold the high standards of service expected by our guests.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Demi Chef de Partie or Commis I with daily kitchen operations.
- Prepare mise‑en‑place and produce food across various sections of the main kitchen and satellite outlets.
- Follow menu specifications set by the Chef de Partie and maintain hygienic work conditions.
- Control food stock, monitor food costs, and ensure waste is minimized.
- Adhere to instructions from supervisors to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
Required profile
- Completed a professional kitchen apprenticeship or chef training course.
- Previous experience in reputable establishments with solid culinary fundamentals.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Positive, dynamic attitude and willingness to work in a multicultural environment.
