Commis III – Kitchen Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Commis III to join our dynamic kitchen team at Al Bandar Rotana in Dubai. The successful candidate will support the Demi Chef de Partie and other kitchen staff in delivering exceptional guest experiences, maintaining high standards of hygiene, and providing creative culinary solutions on a daily basis.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily mise‑en‑place and assist in food production across main and satellite kitchen stations.
• Execute assigned tasks according to the directions of senior chefs while ensuring a clean and hygienic work environment.
• Monitor and control food stock levels and food cost within the designated section.
• Coordinate with other kitchen sections to guarantee consistency, cleanliness, waste reduction, and cost efficiency.
• Support the Demi Chef de Partie or Commis I with routine operations and special guest requests.
• Adhere to all hotel food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.

Required profile

• Completed professional chef training course.
• Previous experience in a reputable culinary establishment with solid culinary skills.
• Good command of English, both spoken and written.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, fast‑paced environment.
• Strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, adaptability and customer focus.
