Communications Specialist

About the role

The Communications Specialist will lead external public‑relations and corporate communication initiatives for a Business Unit within AD Ports Group. The role focuses on building brand awareness, supporting business objectives, and delivering high‑quality content across media channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated annual communication plans, media campaigns and tactical deliverables aligned with KPIs.
• Source stories, arrange editorial meetings and manage the approval process for news and promotional materials.
• Create press releases, interviews, speeches, Q&A documents, digital content, videos, website copy and brochures, ensuring accuracy and brand consistency.
• Coordinate with communications and marketing managers to define and oversee campaign delivery.
• Serve as the primary contact for Business Unit spokespeople, handling public engagements and media opportunities.
• Maintain media relationships, update media databases and track all communication activities.
• Manage approvals between PR teams, third‑party contacts and senior management.
• Maintain and update fact sheets, figures and reporting archives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate and external communications, preferably within a large organization.
• Strong understanding of business objectives and ability to translate them into clear messaging.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively across technical and business departments.

Required skills

• Expertise in writing and editing press releases, speeches, Q&A, and digital content.
• Experience creating content for websites, videos, brochures and social media.
• Strong media relations and stakeholder management abilities.
