Compliance Analyst / Executive

About the role

EC Markets, a CMA‑regulated brokerage in Dubai, is expanding its compliance function to support new market entries. The role will focus on day‑to‑day AML/CFT and compliance activities, reporting to the Head of Compliance and ensuring robust client onboarding and ongoing monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Perform KYC, CDD and EDD reviews, including higher‑risk customer assessments.
• Conduct sanctions, PEP and adverse media screening and escalate matches.
• Support AML/CFT and sanctions compliance tasks and maintain related records.
• Review onboarding documentation, identify deficiencies, and assist with periodic compliance monitoring.
• Prepare compliance reports, management information, and support regulatory requests.
• Assist in delivering AML/CFT and compliance training, including Arabic sessions.
• Support the Head of Compliance with day‑to‑day matters and internal audits.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in AML/KYC/Compliance, preferably within a UAE‑based exchange house, financial institution, fintech or similar regulated entity.
• Hands‑on understanding of KYC, CDD, EDD, AML/CFT, sanctions/PEP screening and customer risk assessment.
• Professional fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
