Construction Manager - Buildings

About the role

AtkinsRealis is seeking a highly experienced Construction Manager to lead a multi‑functional site supervision team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing a portfolio of large‑scale projects across hospitality, mixed‑use, retail and entertainment sectors, ensuring they meet client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a diverse site supervision team delivering numerous mega‑projects.
• Manage stakeholder interfaces across client departments and government agencies.
• Oversee overall construction management, control, and compliance with contractual obligations.
• Monitor contractor performance and progress against schedules.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and health‑&‑safety standards.
• Allocate resources effectively to meet current and future commitments.

Required profile

• Degree qualified (BSc, BEng, BA or equivalent) with Chartered status.
• Minimum 15 years of construction experience, including at least 5 years on similar large‑scale projects.
• Proven track record delivering complex, multi‑functional projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, project controls, quality and health‑&‑safety practices.
• Ability to plan, analyse, manage commercial aspects and mobilise teams.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with clients, internal teams and external partners.
