Construction Manager

About the role

The Construction Manager will lead all on‑site construction activities for large‑scale oil & gas projects in Abu Dhabi. Reporting to senior project leadership, you will ensure that civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, telecom and commissioning works are delivered safely, on time, and to ADNOC standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all site construction disciplines, developing work packs, resource plans and detailed schedules.
• Ensure execution follows approved IFC drawings, method statements, risk assessments and ADNOC specifications.
• Monitor progress, identify delays and implement recovery plans to keep the project on track.
• Manage brownfield modifications, shutdowns, tie‑ins, hot‑work activities and live plant interfaces.
• Promote a strong HSE culture, enforce PTW, SIMOPS procedures and Life‑Saving Rules, and drive zero LTI and zero environmental incidents.
• Collaborate with Project Controls to measure progress and report milestones.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of construction management experience in the oil & gas sector.
• Proven track record managing EPC/EPCM projects, both greenfield and brownfield.
• Deep knowledge of ADNOC codes of practice, HSE management systems and permit‑to‑work processes.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
