Construction Manager

About the role

Worley is seeking a Construction Manager to lead the PMC construction teams on a major project in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures safe, sustainable delivery of the project, meeting schedule, budget and quality expectations while upholding HSSEQ standards.

Key responsibilities

• Champion the project safety culture and oversee safety plans throughout construction, pre‑commissioning, commissioning and start‑up.
• Coordinate all construction activities, ensuring constructability from FEED through EPC completion.
• Manage Construction Engineers and Supervisors, reviewing contractor procedures, method statements, specifications and fabrication drawings.
• Ensure EPC and other contractors comply with HSSE and quality standards.
• Facilitate cooperation between PMC, contractors and the Owner, and negotiate closure procedures for EPC site activities.
• Engage with licensors for site inspections and address construction issues across all phases.

Required profile

• Proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary construction teams.
• Strong understanding of HSSEQ, quality management and constructability principles.
• Ability to coordinate with owners, contractors, licensors and internal disciplines.
• Experience in delivering large‑scale EPC projects on time and within budget.
