Construction Manager (Mechanical)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to lead large‑scale Oil & Gas EPC projects. You will be responsible for overseeing all mechanical construction activities from site mobilization through pre‑commissioning, ensuring safety, quality, schedule and budget compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute mechanical construction strategies, execution plans and resource schedules.
• Review IFC drawings, specifications and scope documents, coordinating with Engineering and Procurement for timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Lead on‑site mechanical works including rotating and static equipment erection, process piping fabrication and installation, structural steel erection, pressure testing and pre‑commissioning.
• Direct field engineers, supervisors, foremen and subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient execution.
• Manage quality assurance activities, inspections, hydro‑tests, audits and approval processes.
• Promote HSE compliance, conduct risk assessments and enforce Permit‑to‑Work systems.
• Monitor construction costs, workforce productivity and material utilization, supporting cost‑control initiatives.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans and resolve technical challenges.
• Serve as primary site interface with clients, contractors, consultants and project leadership, preparing regular progress reports.

Required profile

• Seasoned professional with extensive experience delivering complex Oil & Gas EPC projects.
• Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors and key stakeholders.
• Excellent planning, scheduling and risk‑management skills.
