Construction Manager MEP

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager MEP to lead and manage all MEP site operations, with a focus on HVAC works, for our projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves planning, supervising installation, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and ensuring safe, on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage overall MEP site operations, especially HVAC installation and commissioning.
• Plan and supervise installation of chillers, AHUs, FCUs, ducting, chilled water piping, ventilation systems and controls.
• Oversee daily site activities, manpower allocation, productivity, material management and logistics.
• Coordinate with civil, structural and architectural teams to avoid clashes and delays.
• Conduct regular site meetings with subcontractors and internal teams.
• Implement HSE policies, conduct toolbox talks and maintain safe working conditions.
• Review and approve method statements, risk assessments, ITPs, shop drawings and material submittals.
• Monitor project schedule, ensure milestones are achieved and manage cost control records.
• Manage subcontractor performance, work quality and timely completion.
• Supervise testing, commissioning and handover of HVAC systems.
• Liaise with consultants, clients and local authorities for inspections and approvals.
• Maintain site documentation, daily progress reports and overall site discipline.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10–15 years of experience in MEP construction, with at least 5 years in a managerial or site‑leadership role.
• Strong hands‑on experience with HVAC systems including District Cooling, Chilled Water Systems and VRF.
• Experience on high‑rise, commercial, hospital or industrial projects is preferred.
• Good knowledge of UAE authority regulations and standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project planning tools such as Primavera or MS Project.
