Construction Manager - Villas

About the role

Mace is seeking a Construction Manager to lead the delivery of a large residential master‑plan comprising villas, townhouses and associated infrastructure in the United Arab Emirates. You will be responsible for ensuring safety, quality, cost and programme targets are met while fostering strong relationships with subcontractors and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead designated work packages, monitoring performance against safety, quality, cost and schedule.
• Coordinate with package managers to align programmes and manage critical‑path activities.
• Chair look‑ahead meetings, drive short‑term planning and track progress versus plan.
• Escalate deviations to construction leadership and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Apply the project’s digital strategy to access and manage construction information.
• Oversee area close‑out, ensuring QA/QC compliance, ITPs and handover readiness.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal teams, external stakeholders and subcontractors.
• Support sustainability goals and contribute to net‑zero carbon initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project and construction delivery, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
• Relevant technical qualifications such as a Managerial CSCS Card or SMSTS certification.
• Ability to coach, develop and manage performance of the delivery team.
