Construction QA/QC Engineer

About the role

The QA/QC Engineer will ensure that all construction activities meet project specifications, quality standards, applicable codes and contractual requirements. Working on civil, architectural and structural works, the engineer will implement and maintain the project Quality Management System and coordinate with consultants, contractors and internal teams to deliver high‑quality construction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop method statements, risk assessments, environmental analyses and Inspection Test Plans (ITP) for all construction activities.
• Perform daily inspections and tests on‑site and off‑site to verify compliance with drawings, specifications and approved procedures.
• Manage and control all QA/QC documentation, including certificates, calibration records, test results, non‑conformance reports (NCR) and material submittals.
• Coordinate with consultants, site managers and subcontractors to resolve quality issues and close NCRs and site instructions.
• Conduct internal audits as defined in the Project Quality Plan and report findings to the QA/QC Manager.
• Maintain the Quality Management System, update the Project Quality Plan and ensure distribution of all quality documents.
• Attend and contribute to project quality meetings, providing status updates and corrective actions.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of civil, architectural and structural construction processes.
• Experience in preparing method statements, risk assessments and Inspection Test Plans.
• Proven ability to manage QA/QC documentation and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Familiarity with internal audit procedures and non‑conformance handling.
