Construction Superintendent – Fabrication

About the role

The Construction Superintendent – Fabrication will lead on‑site execution of fabrication projects, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence. Reporting to project management, you will coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver results that meet McDermott standards.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and manage all fabrication construction activities in line with project specifications, schedules, and company standards.
• Coordinate with project management and engineering teams to align resources and project phases.
• Implement and enforce HSE protocols to achieve a zero‑incident workplace.
• Maintain quality control throughout construction, ensuring compliance with industry codes and project requirements.
• Optimize workforce scheduling, equipment allocation, and material procurement to meet project objectives.
• Supervise subcontractors and vendors, verifying performance against contractual agreements.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and provide timely progress updates to stakeholders.
• Mentor staff, promote skill development, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in supervising large‑scale fabrication or construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction execution strategies, resource management, and safety standards.
