Construction Technician I

About the role

Petrofac is seeking a Construction Technician I to provide leadership and guidance to a single‑discipline craft team on site in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on delivering safe, high‑quality construction work that meets international standards, project schedules, and established construction sequences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of Petrofac craft personnel, ensuring safe execution of construction activities.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, including leading toolbox talks and safety training.
• Apply in‑depth knowledge of construction methods, techniques, quality control, and inspection requirements.
• Champion quality installations, ensuring work is done correctly the first time.
• Enforce site work rules and standardized construction processes, procedures, manuals, and systems.
• Communicate openly and approachably with team members and stakeholders.
• Conduct daily site inspections to verify housekeeping standards and take corrective action when needed.
