Consultant Allergist & Immunologist (Dubai)

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced and compassionate Consultant Allergist and Immunologist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in Dubai. The successful candidate will diagnose, treat and manage a broad spectrum of allergic and immune‑mediated disorders in both adult and paediatric patients, delivering evidence‑based care.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage allergic conditions such as rhinitis, asthma, atopic dermatitis, food, drug and insect venom allergies, urticaria, angioedema and anaphylaxis.
• Evaluate and treat primary and secondary immunodeficiency disorders, autoimmune diseases and other immune‑mediated conditions.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures including skin prick, intradermal and patch testing, pulmonary function testing and laboratory investigations (IgE, immunologic studies).
• Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating allergen avoidance, pharmacotherapy, allergen immunotherapy and biologic therapies.
• Administer and monitor allergen immunotherapy, managing any adverse reactions.
• Provide emergency care for anaphylaxis following clinical guidelines.
• Educate patients and families on prevention, trigger avoidance and emergency action plans.
• Collaborate with pulmonologists, dermatologists, ENT specialists, paediatricians and other specialists to optimise outcomes.
• Maintain accurate medical records in line with DHA regulations and participate in audits, research and teaching activities.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and residency in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics.
• Fellowship or subspecialty training in Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
• Board certification in Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
• DHA eligibility or licence for consultant practice in Dubai.
• Minimum 8‑10 years post‑specialisation experience as a Consultant Allergist and Immunologist.
