Consultant Governance Risk And Compliance

About the role

Vistra is seeking a Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Consultant to join its Dubai team. Reporting to the GRC Manager, the consultant will support regulated financial service providers in the DIFC and ADGM, acting as compliance officer, Money‑Laundering Reporting Officer and risk manager. The role offers regional coverage and the chance to influence the growth of Vistra’s Governance Department.

Key responsibilities

• Perform compliance officer, MLRO and risk manager duties for multiple DIFC/ADGM regulated clients.
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients, regulators and business partners.
• Ensure accurate time registration, client invoicing and follow‑up on outstanding payments.
• Report delivery issues and client complaints to management.
• Participate in GRC projects, framework development, regulatory updates and quality‑control initiatives.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop new services and improve operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of senior‑level experience in compliance, MLRO or risk management within the financial services sector.
• Master’s degree in law, finance, business administration or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and consultancy skills, able to communicate with senior stakeholders and regulators.
• Detail‑oriented with a solution‑driven mindset.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of financial‑services regulatory requirements and anti‑money‑laundering frameworks.
• Experience acting as a compliance officer and MLRO.
• Risk assessment and mitigation expertise.
