Consultant Pain Medicine – UAE – Advanced Chronic Pain Services

About the role

A leading internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its multidisciplinary pain management services. The organization seeks a Consultant Pain Medicine to join a modern, quality‑driven clinical team serving a diverse international patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and manage acute, chronic, cancer‑related, neuropathic and musculoskeletal pain.
• Perform image‑guided pain procedures such as nerve blocks, epidural injections, radiofrequency ablation and joint interventions.
• Develop multimodal pain plans that incorporate medication optimisation, rehabilitation, psychology and lifestyle support.
• Coordinate care with orthopaedics, neurology, oncology, rheumatology and rehabilitation teams.
• Educate patients on long‑term pain control, functional restoration and safe analgesic use.
• Maintain high standards for consent, documentation, procedural safety and outcome tracking.

Required profile

• Internationally trained Consultant Pain Medicine with recognised qualification (e.g., American Board, UK CCT, FRCA/FFPMRCA, European Diploma, Royal College Canada, Australian Fellowship, Arab Board).
• Eligibility for UAE medical licensing and facility credentialing.
• Strong clinical expertise, patient‑centred communication and commitment to international healthcare standards.
