Contract Administration Lead – Abu Dhabi

About the role

The Contract Administration Lead will oversee all contract administration activities for projects in Abu Dhabi, ensuring compliance with company policies and contractual obligations. This senior role works closely with technical, planning, procurement, quality and HSE teams to drive seamless project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Lead contract administration across multiple projects, aligning with company policies and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate with technical, planning, procurement, quality and HSE teams to ensure smooth execution and compliance.
• Identify scope changes, prepare and negotiate change orders, variation claims and Extension of Time (EOT) submissions.
• Manage contractual correspondence with clients, safeguarding company interests.
• Support Project Managers in commercial decision‑making, cost control and risk mitigation.
• Ensure strict adherence to contractual terms by all stakeholders.
• Review project schedules, analyse delays (manpower, material, equipment) and support claim justification.
• Prepare progress reports, claims registers, risk/opportunity logs and lead final account settlements.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in contract administration, preferably within construction or engineering projects.
• Proven ability to manage contract variations, claims and client communications.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience supporting project managers on cost and risk matters.
• Excellent analytical skills for schedule and delay analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, law, business or a related field is preferred.
