Contract Manager – Rail Projects (PMC)

About the role

SEGULA Technologies is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to lead contract administration for rail and infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures that project delivery complies with contractual obligations while safeguarding the company’s commercial interests.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and administer contracts in line with project requirements and FIDIC frameworks.
• Develop contract strategy, ensure compliance, and oversee risk management across all project phases.
• Handle variations, claims, change orders, contractual notices, and commercial correspondence.
• Provide contractual and commercial advice to project management and stakeholders.
• Lead negotiations with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and other project parties.
• Monitor contractor performance against contractual terms, KPIs, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with legal, planning, cost control, procurement, and project teams on disputes and claims.
• Prepare regular reports on contract status, risks, claims, variations, and commercial exposure.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Law, Construction Management or a related field.
• 10‑15+ years of experience in contract or commercial management on large infrastructure, rail or mega‑projects.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC and international contract standards.
• Proven track record in managing contracts, claims, variations, negotiations and commercial risks.
• Excellent negotiation, leadership, stakeholder management and decision‑making abilities.
