Contract Specialist – EPC/FEED Projects

About the role

Worley Parsons is seeking an experienced Contract Specialist to support EPC and FEED contracts for large‑scale oil, gas and petrochemical projects in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on ensuring contract compliance, managing risk, and supporting the project team to meet HSSE targets.

Key responsibilities

• Champion the project safety culture and ensure compliance with HSSE objectives.
• Identify, evaluate and resolve contracting issues during the EPC/FEED phase.
• Review contract baselines, requirements, division of responsibilities and key management documents.
• Organise EPC/FEED kick‑off meetings and instruct contractors on administration procedures, including change evaluation, payment certification and insurance compliance.
• Monitor insurance claims, verify supporting documentation, and manage performance/bank guarantees.
• Balance owner relationships with contract administration requirements and coordinate with legal and procurement teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 180 months (15 years) of experience in contract management within EPC/FEED environments.
• Strong knowledge of HSSE standards and ability to lead safety‑related initiatives.
• Proven ability to work with multidisciplinary project teams and external contractors.
