Contracts Manager

About the role

Currie & Brown is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join its Abu Dhabi team, supporting infrastructure and mixed‑use development projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the full contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance, and maintaining strong client and supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Review plans, specifications and contracts to confirm correct equipment, materials and subcontractor services are ordered.
• Maintain client relationships and deliver commercial and contract reports as required.
• Manage the contract lifecycle, from negotiation of terms to award of supplier contracts.
• Explain contract terms and conditions to managers and relevant parties.
• Establish delivery schedules, monitor progress and resolve issues with clients and suppliers.
• Develop and implement commercial strategies and analyse potential contract risks.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers and owners to meet project goals.
• Ensure all contractual deadlines and conditions are met and maintain organized physical and digital records.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Contract or Contracts Manager, preferably in construction or infrastructure.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent discipline.
• Basic knowledge of legal requirements related to contracts.
• Strong analytical, organizational and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Excellent written communication skills.
