About the role

The Operations Coordinator will oversee fleet activities, ensuring timely deliveries and efficient service across DSV’s logistics network. This role combines monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement to support safe and cost‑effective fleet operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor fleet activities to guarantee timely and efficient deliveries.
• Track and report on fleet performance metrics such as mileage and maintenance.
• Schedule regular vehicle inspections, servicing, and maintenance.
• Address mechanical issues promptly to minimise downtime.
• Maintain records of vehicle maintenance, repairs, and warranties.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including licensing, insurance, and safety standards.
• Implement and monitor safety programmes, conduct driver training and safety briefings.
• Prepare reports on fleet utilisation, costs and efficiency.
• Manage vehicle registrations, insurance and documentation renewals.
• Collaborate with vendors for fuel, maintenance and leasing needs.
• Communicate with drivers to resolve concerns and provide updates.
• Monitor fleet expenses and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Optimise routes, fuel efficiency and vehicle utilisation.
• Recommend fleet upgrades or replacements to improve operational efficiency.
• Perform other related duties or projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma.
• 1–2 years of experience in fleet operations.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Analytical mindset and planning & time‑management abilities.
• Personal ownership, adaptability and a proactive attitude.
