Core Banking Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Core Banking Support Engineer to maintain and enhance our banking application suite. The role involves troubleshooting, user liaison, and ensuring smooth operation of deployed Core Banking systems.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day support for all defined banking application systems.
• Analyse problems and business issues raised by users and propose solutions.
• Gather and consolidate functional gaps for system enhancements.
• Coordinate with Database Administrators and Data Centre Operators on data optimisation and modelling.
• Work with IT Application Project Leaders to transition new projects into maintenance and support phases.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Core Banking support, preferably with Phoenix or ITS products.
• At least 5 years in software development or support for Core Banking solutions.
• Strong understanding of banking functions and techno‑functional implications.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
