Corporate Secretary – Board Governance (UAE National)

About the role

The Emirates Investment Authority is looking for an experienced Corporate Secretary to support its Board and committees. This high‑trust position requires a UAE national with strong governance judgment and bilingual drafting skills to ensure effective board operations and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Advise the Executive Board Committee and senior management on corporate governance, UAE legal and regulatory requirements, and international standards.
• Plan and coordinate Board and committee calendars, agendas, papers, and meetings.
• Draft precise Board minutes, resolutions, memoranda, policies, and formal correspondence in English and Classical/Modern Standard Arabic.
• Monitor statutory obligations, filings, governance reporting, and maintain secure Board records.
• Liaise with ministries, regulators, judicial bodies, and external advisers.

Required profile

• UAE nationality.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• At least eight years of relevant experience in corporate secretarial, governance or compliance roles, preferably within a sovereign wealth fund, listed company, investment firm or financial institution.
• Exceptional written Arabic drafting proficiency and strong professional English.
• Deep knowledge of UAE corporate and governance requirements and international governance principles.

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
