Cost Controller – Hospitality Finance

About the role

Chocoberry is seeking a detail‑oriented Cost Controller to join its finance team in Dubai. The role will monitor and manage food, beverage, labor and overhead costs across the brand’s cafés, ensuring profitability while maintaining the guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control food & beverage costs across all outlets.
• Analyze recipe costing, menu engineering, and product profitability.
• Conduct inventory audits and stock variance analysis.
• Review daily, weekly, and monthly cost reports.
• Monitor purchasing, receiving, and store procedures.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities while maintaining product quality.
• Reconcile inventory movements and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare management reports and KPI dashboards.
• Coordinate with Operations, Kitchen, Procurement, and Finance teams.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Management or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of cost control experience in restaurant, café, bakery, hospitality or F&B environments.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, recipe costing, food cost analysis and financial reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with ERP/POS systems is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
