Credit Analyst – Dubai

About the role

The Credit Analyst will join ADIB's Credit Department in Dubai, receiving on‑the‑job training to support credit analysis and approval processes. The role involves collaborating with relationship managers and risk teams to ensure high‑quality credit proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Assist RMs and ARMs in preparing credit approval packages, AC memos and Credit Round Table discussion materials.
• Attend client calls and meetings alongside relationship managers.
• Prepare spreadsheets and conduct financial analysis, including basic financial modeling.
• Perform market checks and monitor creditworthiness of obligors, including reviewing negative press and rating agency reports.
• Liaise with Risk, Legal and Sharia departments to address queries and prepare security documentation.
• Track review dates, ensure timely renewal or deferment of facilities, and maintain accurate credit files.
• Support assessment of credit proposals against the bank’s risk appetite, policies and regulatory requirements.
• Stay informed on macro‑ and micro‑economic developments affecting the portfolio.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of business, finance, economics and current affairs.
• Analytical thinking with a business‑oriented approach.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
