Credit Manager – Trade Finance

About the role

We One is seeking an experienced Credit Manager to lead credit due‑diligence, underwriting and portfolio management for trade finance solutions offered to corporates. The role supports DP World’s Trade Finance platform, ensuring credit quality and minimizing losses across a portfolio of large, complex accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive credit due‑diligence on import/export, receivables/payables, invoice discounting, commodity, inventory and buy‑sell financing transactions.
• Analyse financial statements, identify early‑warning signals and manage collections and recoveries.
• Ensure compliance with internal credit policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Proactively monitor portfolio risk, drive remediation actions and coordinate with external service providers such as risk consultants and recovery agents.
• Review term sheets and loan documentation, providing credit risk support and innovative financing solutions.
• Report portfolio performance and risk metrics to the Director of Credit and senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree from a reputable university.
• 12+ years of credit risk experience in banks, financial institutions or NBFCs, with a focus on large corporate lending.
• Strong knowledge of trade finance credit risk management and cross‑border transaction risk.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
