About the role
To provide effective disinfection, inspection, assembly, sterilisation, storage and distribution of medical and surgical items to operating theatres and wards, ensuring compliance with company quality, patient safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure sterilisation and related activities for medical and surgical items are performed according to company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and perform relevant document audits as per policy.
- Provide input into CSSD quality improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Recognised CSSD qualification from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience in a CSSD department.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a CSSD Technician with the UAE healthcare authority.
Required skills
- Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Knowledge of sterilisation principles and practices.
- Verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Understanding of infection prevention and control protocols.
