Curriculum Specialist – IT & Design

About the role

The Abu Dhabi Vocational Education and Training Institute (ADVETI) is seeking a Curriculum Specialist to lead the development and quality assurance of IT and Design programmes across its institutes. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent, outcomes‑based curricula and innovative teaching practices.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with ADVETI institutes and other stakeholders to promote quality curricular outcomes.
• Work with program teams, course coordinators and related staff to ensure consistency of curricular outcomes across ADVETI institutes.
• Facilitate the development and storage of curriculum documentation and advise on teaching resources.
• Identify and champion best‑practice models, innovation and advanced technology in teaching, learning and assessment.
• Develop training resources and deliver professional development sessions to enhance teaching quality.
• Stay informed of and evaluate current practices in education, curriculum design and assessment.
• Liaise proactively with other Curriculum Specialists to support a holistic approach to curriculum development.
• Carry out administrative tasks and special projects as directed.

• Proven ability to build and maintain professional partnerships.
• Experience supporting outcomes‑based teaching, learning and assessment.
• Capability to develop quality curriculum and resources for vocational education.
• Familiarity with program quality assurance processes.
