Cyber Security Manager

About the role

First Tech is seeking a Group Cybersecurity Manager to lead its security function across the UAE, KSA and emerging markets. This senior position combines strategic leadership with deep technical expertise to protect people, products, platforms and data.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the Group cybersecurity strategy, roadmap, policies and operating model.
• Own target security architecture for cloud, infrastructure, endpoints, identity, applications, APIs, data platforms and third‑party integrations.
• Embed security into product and engineering through secure development, DevSecOps, threat modelling, security testing and release controls.
• Lead cybersecurity operations, including SOC and MSSP oversight, threat detection, incident response and post‑incident improvement.
• Manage vulnerability and exposure programs, ensuring critical risks are identified, prioritized and remediated.
• Oversee key security technologies such as SIEM, EDR/XDR, DLP, IAM/PAM, MFA, WAF, encryption and cloud security tools.
• Ensure compliance with UAE and KSA regulatory requirements and support audits.
• Manage vendor and third‑party risk, including software supply‑chain security.
• Build and develop the cybersecurity team and champion network, collaborating with engineering, product, IT, data, compliance, legal and risk.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading enterprise‑wide cybersecurity programs in complex, multi‑regional environments.
• Strong understanding of security architecture, cloud security and application security.
• Hands‑on expertise in incident response, vulnerability management and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication skills to advise senior leadership and influence cross‑functional teams.
