Cybersecurity Pre‑Sales & Solutions Consultant (SOC / MXDR / EDR)

About the role

Join a fast‑growing Cyber Operations business in the UAE, supporting enterprise clients across security transformation, managed security services and SOC initiatives. The role blends pre‑sales consulting, solution architecture and hands‑on delivery, working directly with CISOs, security leaders and SOC teams to design and implement SOC, MXDR and EDR solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead pre‑sales and solutions consulting for SOC, MDR/MXDR, EDR/XDR and SIEM services, including discovery sessions, workshops, demos and PoCs.
• Translate customer requirements into technical architectures, statements of work, implementation plans and effort estimates.
• Support RFP/RFI responses, proposal development and commercial discussions.
• Participate in billable delivery engagements: configure, integrate, onboard and optimise security technologies.
• Design and enhance SOC monitoring, detection rules, dashboards and use‑cases.
• Implement and optimise SIEM platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, IBM QRadar or Elastic Security.
• Deploy and tune EDR/XDR solutions including Microsoft Defender XDR, CrowdStrike Falcon, SentinelOne and Palo Alto Cortex XDR/XSIAM.
• Collaborate with client SOC teams, vendors and internal stakeholders to identify expansion opportunities.

Required profile

• Strong professional experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations or security consulting.
• Proven background in pre‑sales, solutions consulting and technical delivery for managed detection and response services.
• Hands‑on expertise with EDR/XDR and SIEM platforms, and ability to conduct workshops, demos and PoCs.
• Excellent client‑facing communication skills, able to engage both executive and technical audiences.
• Experience in an MSSP, MDR provider, security vendor or systems integrator is highly desirable.
• Willingness to work on‑site with clients in the UAE.
