Cybersecurity Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Cybersecurity Specialist to strengthen our security posture across web applications, APIs, networks, cloud platforms and enterprise systems. The role blends penetration testing, security monitoring, vulnerability management and governance, requiring both deep technical expertise and the ability to work closely with IT teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform manual penetration testing and security assessments on web applications, APIs, networks, servers, Active Directory and other enterprise assets.
• Identify, rank and exploit vulnerabilities, then deliver practical remediation guidance.
• Monitor security alerts via SIEM platforms, investigate incidents, and support response, containment and post‑incident improvement.
• Develop and fine‑tune SIEM alerts, detection rules, dashboards and use cases.
• Coordinate vulnerability remediation with infrastructure and development teams.
• Review and harden Microsoft Azure and AWS environments, focusing on identity, network, logging and workload security.
• Strengthen Active Directory and Entra ID security, including privileged access, service accounts and Group Policy.
• Assist with security reviews of new applications, systems and projects, and support governance, risk assessments, policies and audits.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience implementing or improving technical security controls in enterprise settings.
• Professional background in penetration testing and vulnerability assessment.
• Strong understanding of web, API, network, operating system and enterprise security concepts.

Required skills

• Penetration testing tools: Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit (or equivalents).
• SIEM and security monitoring platforms: Wazuh, Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk (or similar).
• Cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services.
• Identity and directory services: Active Directory, Entra ID.
• Security frameworks: OWASP Top 10, OWASP API Security Top 10.
• Endpoint security, Web Application Firewall, vulnerability management solutions.
