DAQ Engineer

About the role

The Data Acquisition (DAQ) Engineer will be responsible for the end‑to‑end management of DAQ systems used in oil and gas well testing. The role combines hardware calibration, software configuration and field troubleshooting to ensure reliable data capture and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain DAQ hardware and software, including both wired and wireless solutions.
• Calibrate electronic sensors and other measurement equipment used in DAQ operations.
• Plan and execute service work, equipment maintenance and process optimisation for well‑testing projects.
• Calculate liberated gas and oil volumes and generate accurate DAQ reports.
• Operate real‑time DAS hardware independently, troubleshoot issues and ensure continuous data logging.
• Prepare and deliver detailed DAQ reports using the FARDAQX platform.

Required profile

• Practical exposure to DAQ system installation and configuration.
• Hands‑on experience with wire and wireless DAQ technologies.
• Ability to work independently in field environments.
• Basic knowledge of software installation and configuration.
