Data Architect – Financial Services

About the role

Join a leading financial services organisation in Abu Dhabi as a Data Architect within the AI function. You will design and build robust, enterprise‑scale data platforms that support both operational reporting and advanced analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines that ingest, cleanse and transform high‑volume data from diverse sources.
• Ensure data reliability, accessibility and performance for business and analytical use cases.
• Collaborate with software engineering and AI/ML teams to apply best practices in data governance, security and quality.
• Continuously improve pipelines, proactively identify issues and document architecture, lineage and metadata.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or data architecture.
• Proven experience with Databricks (or similar) and building AI use cases.
• Hands‑on experience building automated pipelines using tools such as Airflow, Luigi or dbt.
• Strong understanding of big‑data architectures and performance optimisation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
