Data Scientist – Web3 & FinTech

About the role

SLICIT is seeking a Data Scientist to lead data‑driven innovation at the intersection of Web 3.0, asset management and fintech. The role combines advanced machine‑learning expertise with deep business knowledge of digital assets, blockchain and tokenisation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and validate machine‑learning models for financial forecasting, portfolio optimisation and risk assessment.
• Analyse large, heterogeneous datasets related to blockchain, NFTs, tokenised assets and market sentiment.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate AI solutions into fintech platforms.
• Translate analytical insights into actionable strategies for asset‑management optimisation.
• Stay abreast of emerging Web 3.0 technologies and propose data‑centric use cases.

Required profile

• Strong background in machine learning and artificial intelligence applied to the financial sector.
• Hands‑on experience building and deploying models such as regression, decision trees, clustering, neural networks and reinforcement learning.
• Proven track record of delivering projects that generate measurable business impact.
• Solid understanding of asset‑management, fintech and digital‑asset ecosystems.
